in the amount that's right for you.
Community Friends are those donors who contribute up to $999. Recognition as a Friend shows a strong commitment to improving the quality of life in our communities.
The Lighthouse Society is a recognition program for our most generous philanthropic donors who make significant contributions at the $1,000 level and above. Membership in the Lighthouse Society shows a desire to make significant change in our communities and provides a strong foundation upon which the United Way can help deliver long-term solutions to complicated human services issues.
The Tocqueville Society recognizes philanthropic leaders who create long-lasting changes by tackling our communities’ most serious issues. Membership in The Tocqueville Society is granted to individuals who contribute at least $10,000 annually to the campaign. These donors lead by their example of personal giving and help to communicate the vital role of personal philanthropic action to address the underlying causes of societal problems.
Corporate and Employee Donors invest in the future of the North Shore United Way and their North Shore neighbors. Local corporations conduct employee campaigns, and many North Shore residents who work in other communities donate at work and designate NSUW as the recipient of their funds.
