Basic Needs
Our goal with Basic Needs is to increase the access to healthy food, financial benefits and other basic resources for low income families.
NSUW seeks to ensure that low income individuals and families living in our communities have their basic needs met, including food, shelter, heat, electricity and safety. We support a comprehensive approach designed to increase independence, self-sufficiency and self-esteem by addressing root causes. For example, we seek to promote financial stability, access to financial benefits, food security, healthy nutrition, permanent housing and individual and family safety.
